Instrument Calibration Procedure Issue Date: Jan. 7, 2000 1.0 Equipment used for inspection and testing is identified on CALIB-2001, which identifies:             type of instrument,             manufacturer,             serial number,             calibration cycle. 2.0 Equipment calibrated by XYZ Co. personnel is recorded on CALIB-2002. 3.0 Equipment calibrated by outside services requires a data sheet, maintained in the Quality Control Department. 4.0 XYZ Co. maintains a Calibration Recall List, CALIB-2003, indicating due date and completion date for all inspection and test instruments. *5.0 Any instrument found to be out of specification is removed from service. 6.0 The Quality Manager is notified via CALIB-2004 and required to make a final disposition.
